We cut the old bead out first
Caulk over caulk peels. So the old bead comes out completely.
Then we clean the joint, let it dry, and run one continuous bead. Bathrooms get a mildew-resistant silicone. Trim gets a paintable caulk.
Fresh silicone needs time before it gets wet, usually around a day. We'll tell you when the shower is good to use again.

We don't. New caulk over old peels away. We remove the old bead and start clean.
When can I shower?
Usually after about a day, depending on the product. We tell you the exact time before we leave.
Do you do outside caulking?
Ground-level exterior gaps around trim and windows, yes. Anything that needs the roof, no.
